The Christmas Elf

This year I've been blessed with a little helper to help me prepare for the holidays!  Even though she doesn't understand Christmas, that hasn't stopped Milan from helping her Mommy!  Notice in the picture above - she is trying to make off with one of my measuring cups while I'm in the middle of baking cookies.

She finally managed to reach over the gate to pull an ornament from the tree (helping Mommy re-decorate).

Thanksgiving In Idaho

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with my family in Idaho. Milan really enjoyed her time with her Grandparents, Aunt Catherine, and my nephew, Kevin. She especially enjoyed time spent with her cousin Jenna. The two of them were nearly inseparable. While we were there, Milan spoke her first word (other than Mama and Dada)! She began to say "hi". She knew exactly when to say it and after a couple of days, paired it with her wave.
