The Girls...

...really enjoyed this old-time photo shoot.  The photography package was a birthday gift to me from friends that we vacationed with in Ocean City, NJ. Milan and Paloma were a little apprehensive at first, even disagreeing with the photographer about the color of the dresses he was pulling out for them, but once we had the dresses selected, they really had a ball.  It was so fun watching their eyes grow larger and larger as he pulled out hats, gloves, necklaces and finally the parasols.  They were beaming.  It was so cute, too, because they thought they looked just like Mary Poppins who happens to be one of their "it" girls right now.

Hello....... it's been awhile.....

Yesterday while riding in the car, Milan declared she wants to be an artist when she grows up.  Not to be outdone, Paloma insisted she is going to be a fairy.....

I can't believe it's been nearly four months since my last post!  Part of the reason for my absence is this little project:  She Loves Paper  I officially opened my shop on May 1st and after two weeks of nothing, started getting sales.  I've been primarily selling thank you cards for weddings and bridal showers, although I've done some work for a few baby showers too.   I opened right in the middle of wedding season and have spent almost every night this summer working on cards!  Things have slowed down the past couple of weeks so I'm hoping to take advantage of the down time and create some cards for the holidays.

The girls are wonderful!  They love spending time outside riding bikes and swimming.  Milan has been going to camp 3 mornings each week.  Paloma and I take a music class 1 morning each week.  We spent last week in Ocean City which was a wonderful way to cap off our summer.  I plan to come back in a few days and post some pics of our week in Ocean City!
