An Afternoon at Freddy Hill Farms

Pig races, hayrides, cornstalk maze and slide, pony rides, pumpkin patch, a farm zoo, and homemade ice. And we managed to take all of it in during the hour and a half we were there. A beautiful sunny day with a high of almost 70 - what a fun way to spend an October afternoon! Milan especially, had a wonderful time.

Her very first pony ride!

Homemade ice cream, yummy!

Nine Months Old

This kid is killing me with her cuteness. And her eyes. And her smile. And her joy. And her laughter. Everything is new. Everything is wondrous. Everything is explored. I wake up so excited for each day because I know I get to spend it with her and I can’t wait to see what she’s up to next.

She's currently:
17 pounds, 13 ounces
27.5 inches long

The Haircut

Ok, it was just a trim, but still her first! She did a great job and really tried hard not to move around too much. Milan took the whole thing very seriously, you could also tell she felt very proud to be getting a big girl haircut. Daddy went first and afterwards it was Milan's turn. I thought for sure she would have to be coaxed into the chair or would flat out refuse, but when she was called, she bravely marched to the chair and sat right down.

Afterwards, she told me she had "pity" (pretty) hair.

She Stands!

Wasn't it just last week when I said Paloma had pulled to a standing position twice, but preferred her knees?

(You can see one of her new teeth in this picture.)

Need I say more?
