When Toddlers and Vaseline Collide...

She had her back to me as she quietly played on the floor of her room. She seemed so engrossed in play, I decided to take the opportunity to visit a few of my favorite online places. A couple of minutes later when I went to check on her, she turned around and that is when I realized she wasn't playing with a toy, she was smearing Vaseline all over her hair, face and hands (trust me, the pictures don't really do it justice). Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get Vaseline out of hair???? Try 9 consecutive hair washings, and I actually think she could use one more...

In Paloma news, she smiled her first official smile two days ago...so cute! She turned 6 weeks old on Thursday, her awake times are becoming longer and more frequent.

Sorry if the pictures seem redundant, but I'm way behind on getting photos to my family, and Grandma just happens to be a scrapbooker...

Love this face

One Month Old

One month old, say it isn't so! Where does the time go? It feels like we just came home from the hospital last week.

Today, in addition to her one month birthday, was Paloma's first official bath. She cried through most of it, but towards the end, decided it might not be too bad.

Snow, The Sequel

Maybe it has to do with her current obsession over snowmen, or maybe because she makes me sing "Let it Snow" several times a day, or perhaps it's the simple fact that she finally understands what "snow" is.......Whatever it is, this week Milan finally enjoyed playing in the snow. She let me put on her snowsuit, hat, mittens, and boots without any fuss, she seemed very anxious to go outside with Daddy to help shovel snow.

She didn't glance back at all, no hesitation.

She didn't shed a tear.

She squealed in delight instead of screaming.

She wanted Daddy to keep pulling her.

What a difference two months makes.

Don't you love when they sleep with their arms up and out?

She now loves her boots, wants to wear them constantly.

My little sweethearts!
